Arnholt started our bakery at 204 West Fairchild Street in 1929. In 1969 the current face on Fairchild Street was added.
From 1929 to 1940 bakery items were baked in a large open hearth oven. The first gas fired oven in Danville was later installed at the beginning WWII. |

The bakery's rear oven and storage areas were again expanded to its present size in 1954. | |||
| Four Generations have operated Arnholt Bakery. Currently, Gerry Arnholt's son, Matt Arnholt, oversees the day to day operations |
